The dental emergency designates the situation of acute pain in which a patient finds himself. This condition may be accompanied by infection, fever and swelling of the mucous membranes. In odontology, emergency is classified into two groups:

The painful emergency

When the pain felt is unbearable and refractory to analgesics and anti-inflammatories. If the pain causes significant discomfort, it is important not to wait. An untreated infection is likely to get worse and we invite you to make an appointment with a healthcare professional as soon as possible.

The aesthetic emergency

In the event of a broken tooth, a loose bridge, a dental ring that falls or even the loosening of a ceramic-metallic crown.

In both cases, immediate intervention is then necessary to relieve the patient and eliminate the pain he feels.
